I usually take my overnight oats to work in the morning because I don’t have time to make breakfast before I leave. Whenever I have time in the morning however, I make a green smoothie to give my body an extra boost of nutrients. And my immune system has thanked me so far.
So this is the quick recipe for my basic green smoothie. If I have other fruit at home, like mango, pineapple or berries, I throw those in as well, but most of the time I keep it simple. I also just got wheatgrass powder, which I sometimes mix in as well now.
Ingredients:
- 150 ml water
- 1 banana
- 1 apple
- 2 leaves swiss chard OR handful of baby spinach
- 1 tbsp linseed
- 1 tsp chlorella
- 1 tsp spirulina
- juice of 0.5 lemon
Instructions:
- Mix everything in a blender until smooth.

Grüner Immun-Booster Smoothie
Zutaten:
- 150 ml Wasser
- 1 Banane
- 1 Apfel
- 2 Blätter Mangold ODER Handvoll Babyspinat
- 1 EL Leinsamen
- 1 TL Chlorella
- 1 TL Spirulina
- Saft einer halben Zitrone
Zubereitung:
- Alles in einem Mixer zu einem glatten Smoothie mixen. 🙂
