Oatmeal is definitely my go-to choice when it comes to fixing a quick and easy breakfast. Most of the time, I prepare my oats in a jar the night before and then take them to work the next morning.
Oatmeal is not only easy to prepare, it’s also versatile and extremely delicious. You can come up with tons of variations and this peanut butter and chocolate chip oatmeal is one of my favorites so far. Of course, you can also substitute the peanut butter for any other nut butter.
This is how I take my oats to work:
Ingredients:
- 150 ml boiling water
- 1.5 tbsp peanut butter (crunchy)
- 70 g oats
- vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Add boiling water to peanut butter and mix.
- Add oats and mix well. Add more water if oats are too dry.
- Mix in chocolate chips.

Zutaten:
- 150 ml kochendes Wasser
- 1.5 EL Erdnussbutter (crunchy)
- 70 g Haferflocken
- Vegane Schokotröpfchen
Zubereitung:
- Erdnussbutter mit heißem Wasser aufgießen und vermischen.
- Haferflocken hinzufügen und vermischen. Wenn nötig noch mehr Wasser hinzugeben.
- Schokotröpfchen unterrühren.
