Yup, this is basically a mini cake for one. Or baked oatmeal in a mug. Whatever you want to see it as, mugcakes are the perfect dessert or afternoon snack – easy and quick to make and super indulgent!
Just like pancakes, you can create endless variations of these and incorporate whatever you have at hand. I like to make mugcakes either with protein powder as a post-workout snack or as an afternoon snack to get me through the day.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup oats
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 0.25 tsp vanilla
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp maca (optional)
- (vanilla) oat milk
- fresh strawberries
Instructions:
- Mix all dry ingredients. Add just enough milk to form a thick batter.
- In a heat resistant bowl or mug, microwave the mix for about 1.5- 2 minutes (around 600W), until dough starts to rise.
- Serve with fresh strawberries, add chia seeds & maple syrup if you like!

- 40 g Haferflocken
- 2 EL Kokosmehl
- 1 TL Zimt
- 1 EL Kokosblütenzucker
- 0.25 TL Vanille
- 0.5 TL Backpulver
- 1 TL Maca (optional)
- (Vanille) Hafermilch
- frische Erdbeeren
Zubereitung:
- Die trockenen Zutaten vermischen. Gerade so viel Milch hinzufügen, bis eine zähe Masse entsteht, diese gut mischen.
- In einem hitzebeständigen Gefäß/Tasse die Mischung für etwa 1.5- 2Minuten in der Mikrowelle erhitzen (bei etwa 600W), bis sich der Teig leicht hebt.
- Mit frischen Erdbeeren, und nach Belieben Chia Samen & Ahornsirup servieren!
